Fees
My fee is £70 per 50-minute session. Invoices are monthly and can be paid by credit/debit card or bank transfer.
I have some concessionary spaces for people on low incomes – please enquire about availability.
THERAPY ROOM
Sessions are held from Monday to Thursday in a quiet, comfortable, dedicated therapy room in Edinburgh EH9 (Newington/Grange/Mayfield area).
SESSIONS
I usually see clients every week at the same time. If possible, I’ll offer flexibility to fit around care responsibilities, work shifts or other commitments. I usually find it is best to meet every week at the start of therapy, so I don’t usually offer fortnightly counselling to new clients. Some late afternoon and early evening sessions are available, although these are often booked up.
THERAPY LENGTH
My clients come to see me for anything from a block of 6-12 weeks’ therapy to periods of several months or years, depending on the issues involved and personal preference.
GETTING THERE
The area is well served by bus routes and free parking is available if required.
WHO I WORK WITH
I work with individual adults aged 18 and over. I don’t offer couples’ counselling, family therapy or counselling for children and young people. I welcome clients of all genders, sexualities, socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds, ethnicities and personal experiences. I have a particular interest in men’s mental health.
